The PISA Integrity Assessment Centre offers a variety of background checks that can be easily implemented to give you the information that you need in selecting the right people for the right position.

Failing to implement a proper background check for an employee who applied to a risk sensitive position can leave a company vulnerable for being held liable if the person becomes involved in criminal or unethical activities. A background check is the least expensive means of protecting yourself and your clients.

Psychometric assessments are designed to measure an applicant’s suitability for a role based on the required personality characteristics, aptitude or cognitive abilities and integrity profile. They identify the extent to which an applicants personality and cognitive abilities match those required to perform the role. All the psychometric assessments offered by the PISA Integrity Assessment Centre have been classified and registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa, which is a legal requirement for their use in South Africa. Some of these examinations can be conducted online which means that they are available for use wherever there is a computer and internet connection available. All polygraph examiners affiliated with the PISA Integrity Assessment Centre are qualified and accredited and only use polygraph techniques that have been internationally accepted as valid and reliable. Our examiners are members of the Southern African Polygraph Federation.

EyeDetect® is a next-generation lie detector. It measures subtle changes in the eye to detect deception. EyeDetect is internationally used to screen job applicants, employees, parolees as well as law enforcement and public safety personnel. It is less evasive and more cost effective than traditional polygraph examination which makes it perfect for large scale or discreet applicant screenings. Despite this, it still boasts an accuracy rating of 86%.
